After finishing up last minute tasks and delivering Sophie, our cat, to Mittens Motel (her home away from home for a month vacation), we closed up the house, and went multiple modally to the airport (bus and MAX). We had a 1:56 pm departure from PDX to SFO. We hopefully left the rain behind, though it rained the entire time we lingered in the United Business Class lounge in San Francisco.
Our flight to New Zealand (NZ) is scheduled to departed at 7:55 pm, direct to Auckland, arriving two days from now at 6:00 am. We then cool it at the Auckland Airport for a few hours before continuing with a short flight to Christchurch, on NZ's South Island.
This is a short blog to test my writing and has only one photo - a selfie in the SFO lounge.
